What this GIF means
Aura is slang for the presence someone gives off without trying — charisma you can feel in a room. It works like a score: you gain aura for doing something effortlessly cool, and lose it when you embarrass yourself. From that came 'aura farming', acting deliberately cool to build it up, which is almost always said as a joke, since needing to farm aura means you have none. The word took off on TikTok in 2024 and went global in mid-2025 with the video of Rayyan Arkan Dikha dancing at the bow of a boat during an Indonesian Pacu Jalur race.
